Dr. Lixin Jiang
Doctor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology
I am an Associate Professor in Industrial/Organisational Psychology, and the Founder and Director of the Master of Organisational Psychology at the University of Auckland. Since obtaining my PhD in 2013, I have published over 75 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters addressing issues related to employee health, safety, stress, and well-being, via resources building for managers and employees. I have successfully secured over $1 million in external funding as the Principal Investigator or Named Investigator from prestigious institutions, including WorkSafe and Health Research Council of New Zealand and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health from the US, among others. My first-authored publications have received The Scholarly Impact Award 2023 from the Journal of Management, and the 2021/2022 Best Article Award from the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. My recent first-authored work at the Journal of Organizational Behavior is one of the top downloaded articles for 2022 and top cited articles for 2023. I am currently serving as the Deputy Editor for Stress and Health, and the Associate Editor for the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and sitting on the editorial boards for Journal of Organisational Behavior and Occupational Health Science. My work has garnered 3,389 citations (h-index =33, i10-index = 54).
